Sharing Your Sleeve Profile

Sharing Your Sleeve Profile

Sleeve works best when fans know this is your home base... the place where your music, updates, releases, and mailing list all live in one spot. It's where your posts land, where fans follow you, and where people can support you directly.

To make it work, you need to bring people in consistently. Here's how to do that.

Your link and QR code

You have a few entry points fans can use:

  • Your Sleeve URL... yourname.sleeve.fm
  • Your custom domain... yourname.com (if you've connected one... see how)
  • Your QR code... for shows, merch tables, posters, flyers, anywhere physical

Where to find them

  1. Open your artist dashboard (open the Your Sleeve menu in the top-right, choose Manage).
  2. Open the Site Editor tab.
  3. Scroll to the top section to copy your shortlink.
  4. Click Download QR & Print Materials to grab your QR code (and a printable sticker version) for live use.

How to invite fans

The most effective way to bring fans to Sleeve is to share the link often and tell them why they should follow you there.

Show them why you're here. A simple explanation goes a long way:

"This is where I share new music and updates first." "If you want to hear what I'm working on, this is the best place to follow me." "I'm sharing demos and behind-the-scenes stuff here that won't be anywhere else."

Where to share

  • Social bios and websites... add your Sleeve link or custom domain to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, your website, your email signature. Replace your Linktree with it if you have one
  • Direct outreach... a quick note in a newsletter or social post pulls fans in directly
  • QR codes at shows... put it on the merch table, posters, the stage backdrop, or a slide between songs. Fans can follow you instantly
  • Welcome offers... a small exclusive (a demo, an early listen, a behind-the-scenes clip) gives fans a reason to join right now

Be consistent

Fans often need to see a link two, three, five times before they click. Regular sharing builds momentum. Don't announce Sleeve once and assume people heard you.

What artists actually do

You don't need to do all of these. They're patterns that work, in case any of them spark an idea.

  • Short teaser videos... "Hear the early version on my Sleeve page."
  • Behind-the-scenes clips that end with "Full version on Sleeve."
  • Pinned posts on social profiles explaining what lives on your page
  • Quick newsletter mentions... "New post on Sleeve today!"
  • At-show shoutouts... "Scan the QR to follow me and hear a new demo."

Every audience is different. Experiment and see what works for your fans.
